The Wing is an aerodynamic surface.
Unlike most blocks, this block has directional drag - as it goes faster, it will create more drag against its flat sides.
Settings[]
This block has no adjustable settings.
Usage[]
While the wing can be used for aerodynamic purposes, in practice it is quite poor at this job. The Propeller utterly outclasses it in every way - it is recommended you use those instead. Additionally, the Wing Panel, while not as efficient as the propeller, has numerous attachment points.
The block has some use as a cosmetic component; its large size makes it an efficient way of covering large sections of hull. It is, however, now recommended to use the Build Surface for this purpose.
Technologies[]
This block could be used in place of propellers in technology, but this is not recommended in the slightest.
