Behaviour[]
The vacuum has a conical area of effect, and when activated will suck the closest block in that area towards itself.
The area of effect increases in distance and size with increased power.
Usage[]
It can be used to collect objects at a distance and deposit them in a box or collection area, or to grab them like a Grabber.
Trivia[]
- In v1.26, its behaviour was changed, making it work more as intended but neutering its usage in advanced technology.
- Before then, its area of effect grew when not aligned with a world axis, and it sucked on the furthest block instead of the closest.
- This meant that at high powers it was simultaneously effective at homing in on vehicles as part of Guided Missiles and as a warhead since - as it always pulled on the furthest object - it would very quickly pull very strongly on everything in its area of effect.
- Clustered in large amounts at high powers, it could wipe an entire level clear of moving objects instantly.
- Overflow could also be used on this block to freeze everything in its (potentially enormous) area of effect.
